The Threat of Insecure Radioactive Materials
Generally, according to Bunn and Maslin (2011), nearly all the radioactive materials are insecure depending on how they are used. The materials are made up by combining the radioactive materials with typical explosives that are meant to spread during any dirty bombing explosion. Unfortunately, dirty –bombing explosion activities had previously caused an alarming number of both short and long-term health and environmental complications in the regions affected (Allen et al., 2010). Moreover, the explosions have also led to the destruction of billions of dollars that have been perhaps caused by the high evacuation costs, cleanup, and relocation of the survived victims. Therefore, this part of the assignment is concerned with the review of the relevant literature papers on the Threats of Insecure Radioactive Materials. Although a good number of relevant literature sources are available, only three have been selected for the literature review. The paper, therefore, begins by listing the source selected
