Preparations, Actions and Concern during a Domestic Terrorism Emergency
In Terrorism:Concepts,Causes, andConflictResolution, William G. Cunningham, Jr. (2003) asserts that terrorism takes up different definitions depending on the situation at hand, their field of study and their interest in the subject discussion thus making terrorism is a complex and very emotive topic of discussion. Simply defined, terrorism is a violent reaction to a complex set ofsocio-economic, political, cultural and possibly religiousvariables that have both long term preconditionsand short term precipitant triggers thatneed to be addressed with a multidimensional intervention to get rid of underlying causesand cycles of violence (Cunningham, 2003). When such acts are committed by one in their own country against their own people, it is termed as domestic terrorism
